First ride
Volcanic loam & mossy roots
Our first day of riding hits the deep volcanic soil and ancient wet roots of Desierto de los Leones National Park: intense technical descents above 3,000 m. Traditional post ride lunch, then a private transfer to the high desert town of Tehuacán.

Second ride & transfer
Murciélagos, then on to Oaxaca
Breakfast at Hotel Aldea del Bazar, then a second day in the saddle at Murciélagos Bike Park in Ajalpan: sun bleached singletrack through cactus forests and rocky canyons, a completely different grip and rhythm to Day 2. Post ride snack, then we pack the fleet and transfer to Oaxaca in time for dinner.

Rest day: culture & craft
The agave & artisan highlands
No riding, no transfer, just Zapotec culture, already settled into Oaxaca. A private tour of an authentic mezcal palenque with wild agave tasting; a visit to a traditional Teotitlán del Valle telar workshop to see artisans hand weave Oaxacan wool tapetes on foot pedal looms; and a stop at the Taller de Jacobo y María Ángeles in San Martín Tilcajete, Oaxaca's most celebrated alebrijes workshop. The day closes with traditional Oaxacan gastronomy.

Ixtepeji
The holy grail of pine needle flow
A full day on the world famous trails of Ixtepeji: endless fields of dry pine needle loam, massive hand built flow lines, served by 100% community supported shuttle trucks. Dinner tonight at Restaurante Tierra del Sol.

Final sierra shred & transfer
The coast highway
A second and final day of Sierra Norte riding at San Pablo Etla / Etla Guacamayas, hitting some of the fastest and most aggressive enduro and downhill lines of the trip. After riding we load the fleet and take the highway straight down to the Pacific.

Pacific swells & farewell feast
Swap your full suspension bike for a surfboard. Private morning surf clinic at a hand picked break, then a free afternoon by the pool. The week closes with a farewell dinner at El Coste, Puerto Escondido.
