Solo Bike Trip started in 2018 in Oaxaca, riding the same trails we now guide on.
We are not a foreign operator who found Mexico on a map. We live here, we ride here on our days off, and every hotel, guide and stop on this route earned its place because we have personally vetted it.
Our guides are local, certified, and ride the terrain year round. Nobody is flown in for the season. In the Sierra Norte, our shuttles and trail access run in partnership with the local community operators who built and maintain these trails.
We built this route because Mexico has some of the best mountain biking on the planet, and almost nobody outside the country knows it yet. We wanted to build the trip we would want to take ourselves: real riding, real culture, real hospitality, no shortcuts.
